A reminder for those who arrive in the world of Art Toy, Michael Lau is a Hong Kong-based artist-designer of urban-inspired figures.
He owns his own gallery in Hong Kong, "Michael", where he exhibits his creations 3 to 4 times a year.
He is the creator of the Gardener, Crazychildren, Mr. Shoe, Lamdog, NY Fat action series.
Considered by many observers as the godfather and patron of the Art Toys scene, Michael Lau did a lot for the recognition of HK VINYL, even though he broke away some time later.
He has collaborated with major brands such as Nike, Adidas, Casio, Colette and many others.
We present here his iconic series of Gardener and a beautiful piece called "CrazyChildren King".
