Good news that also comes with a little more freedom...
With a gradual return of artistic and museum activities, we were watching - like many of you - for the reopening of galleries. Nothing like a good expo to spend a great summer, always with caution and obviously respecting barrier gestures ! Among the exhibitions that we want to see, we find that of the cynical designer and illustrator Sir Joan Cornellà. The Spanish artist who favors black humor, which he handles with subtlety, will be in the spotlight for a solo exhibition between the walls of the Arts Factory gallery.
It's thanks to satire that Joan Cornellà denounces an ever more violent news, with as leitmotif images in bright colors, associated with dramatic and controversial subjects. An irony that can be found in his illustrations as well as in his figurines like the very incisive Selfie Gun or the very political K-Love. If we often wonder if we can laugh at everything, Joan Cornellà seems to put us on the track with her powerful works that give food for thought as much as laughter. An exhibition not to be missed and to discover from July 1 at the Arts Factory gallery at 27 rue Charonne 75011 in Paris.
