In 1978, big changes in the world of video games, Space Invader landed in arcade machines.
A stratospheric success in smoky Japanese theaters, this fixed horizontal shoot-em-up is said to have even caused a shortage of coins, forcing the Japanese government to quadruple Yen production. The principle is simple: you control a small ship which can move from left to right while hordes of ships which come to you on the corner of the nose.
On the original arcade machine was a menacing monster, which moreover looked more like the strange creature of the black lake than the aliens present on the screen, monster that Goodsmile offers you today in the form of a 6.6" statuette.
