This year, on the program of this exhibition: Dating, Dedications, Concerts, Original Plates, Vernissage and Obviously: BD! Presentation: - The association Coffee CreedCreated in 1998 in Angouleme, federates, broadcasts and highlights the work of thirty young comics authors, screenwriters, designers, colorists. This collective is a space of freedom and creation, allowing the authors to give free rein to their talent and to test various graphic and narrative expression modes. Since 2002, the authors publish annually, on the occasion of the festival, a comic collective for young people, the Choco Creed. Five numbers have been published so far, on a thematic principle: "Science Fiction" (2002), "shiver" (2003), "tenderness" (2004), "Nature" (2005), "Mystery" (2006). In January 2007 is published the Choco Creed number 6: special "origin of the world": 112 pages of stories and games all in color. - Collective Morvel Edit this year the "Morvel Acne", the third volume of a series that began two years ago with "Morvel Bd, Bidule, Owl" followed a year later by "Morvel Popo". The three volumes form a global narrative but each of them can be addressed independently. They report the adventures of a strip of children not like the others at different times of their lives with Professor Madness, the smallest megalomania of the world. "Morvel Acne" deals with their adolescence. And the ungrateful age will not be the last of their concern ... - Chromacomics is the last born of Angoumois collectives, which publishes for the second year a triptych based on the chromatic triangle of primary colors, for a young adult audience and more. - ARTOYZ has since 2003 (Year of its creation) the first French platform fully dedicated to the wholesale and retail culture and retail of designer toys (or art toys). Correspondence Site since December 2003, the appearance of Artoyz.com has democratized the accession to the collection figures from the urban universe and graffiti, by offering a wide selection of Oys created by artists. pretty much everywhere in the world. With the opening of a shop / gallery of 100 m2 in the heart of the Saint Honoré district in Paris in October 2005 (and more than a dozen exhibitions noticed since the opening), Artoyz is undoubtedly the European Névralgic Center of Toys with the widest selection of products. The growing interest in the public for standard customized figurines opens up new perspectives and allows everyone to practice Toy's creation. ARTOYZ supports the initiatives of Angoumoisine collectives aroused and allows them to let go of their creativity on new and delusional media! James Jarvis: Vortigern's Machine (and the Great Sage of Wisdom) is the first comic from the James Jarvis Illustrator. Graduated from the Royal College of Art, James Jarvis began his career as a freelance graphic designer, then since 1998 he collaborates closely with the brand Silas for which he will publish his most famous figurines: Martin, Lars and Policeman. He also worked for Sony, Nokia, Parco, The Face, Nova, Relax and RATP. For several years it has been developing a gallery of characters entitled World of Pain, a hundred vinyl plastic figurines were coming out. This is one of the most recognized and productive artists of the designer toy scene (toy of adult artists). 2006 marks the release of the first volume of its comic book "Vortigern's Machine and the Great Sage of Wisdom" and 8 vinyl figurines of the characters of the comic. We can find these collectives under the Montazier bubble in the alternative BD space, as well as in the youth space and especially, at the theater, where we will find coffee Creed & Morvel for an exhibition of original drawings and volumes painted in association With Artoyz.
