Yuki The Young Yak di Mark Ryden
Tre anni fa, un progetto è iniziato tanto incredibile quanto ambiticoloso: la creazione di un peluche con il talentuoso Mark Ryden, il padrino del movimento pop-surrealista.
All'epoca, il pittore stava appena iniziando a lavorare su una nuova serie, Anima Animals, per una prossima mostra alla Shanghai Perrotin Gallery. Stava quindi creando un nuovo fantastico bestiario, popolato da creature più misteriose e colorate rispetto all'altra.
È stato quando ci siamo avvicinati a lui offrendogli la collaborazione che abbiamo sognato così tanto: dare vita a uno di questi animali. Con nostra gioia ha accettato e ci ha affidato la produzione più preziosa di tutti: un bambino di nome Yuki.
È iniziata un'avventura lunga e meravigliosa, alla ricerca dei migliori materiali per progettarlo, con molti viaggi rotondi con l'artista, molto coinvolto, per trovare i modi migliori per trascrivere in volume il suo stile unico e particolare. La crisi Covidid e le sue numerose ripercussioni non facilitono una rapida gestazione di questo meraviglioso animale.
Ma eccolo qui!
Avvicinandosi alla nuova mostra di Mark Ryden, Animals Secrets, presso la Perrotin Paris Gallery, Artoyz è felice di presentare Yuki nella sua versione bianca.
Ed è un bellissimo bambino da 40 cm!
Avvolto in una borsa ricamata, è protetto da una scatola incredibile. Completamente designata da Mark Ryden, sfoggia un dipinto realizzato dall'artista sulla fronte.
Questo giovane Yak è disponibile solo in 500 copie e ogni peluche, così come la scatola che lo accompagna, sono numerati a mano, rendendoli un prezioso collezionista per tutti i fan e i collezionisti dell'artista di tutto il mondo.
Questo lancio eccezionale ci consente anche di inaugurare la nostra nuova etichetta, Golem. Un po 'come la leggendaria creatura di Praga, intende modellare nuove entità, tutte in versione limitata, tutte in collaborazione con il meglio dell'artista internazionale.
È per noi un onore per l'ingresso Golem con Mark Ryden, un artista immenso che abbiamo ammirato per così tanto tempo.
