Original Fake

Original Fake, this is the name of the new gallery and shop opened by Kaws in collaboration with Medicom in Tokyo. The American artist Kaws Created once again the surprise, by collaborating with the Japanese firm Medicom (which manufactures its figurines) for the opening of a shop/gallery in the heart of Tokyo. This space entitled Original Fake (of the same name as one of his exhibitions which he made some time ago at the Bape Gallery was inaugurated at the beginning of May with the presentation of the space including many unpublished paintings but also a Companion On a 1: 1 scale, the right half of which is none other than the vision of "skin" of the character. Pushead also donated one of his Companion Green swallowing version of unique and incredible slime. During the opening several highly coveted objects were put up for sale: lithos, tees, monotonous versions 100, 400 and 1000% of its be@rbrick, cushions, everything was sold in the time that followed. ..Of course....
