Years Adrift the new poetic coarse series

Mark Landwehr and Sven WaschkArtists behind Coarse, have created the surprise on Instagram again by presenting their last two figures: Years Adrift Ephemera and Years Adrift Bread. Evocative names that have matters only poetry that emerges from these figurines, one in color, the other in black & white.

If both have in common this position that is sometimes thinking about Christ Cross, sometimes in myth ofIcarus - Who burns his wax wings while flying too close to the sun - they are also the metaphor of uncertainty and indecision. In this position, Fever (The masculine character) is at the edge of a precipice, physically symbolized by a white and neutral support. By only one with the goose, of which he deploys the wings parallel to his arms, Fever is torn between retreat or fly. Impossible for anyone not to identify with him when a decision must be made with this perpetual anxiety to be wrong.

In shorter details ... Ephemera is distinguished by its colorful accents with green hair and the underwear Parma of Fever when bread, charged with darkness and pessimism, shows us the bleeding goose on the torso and feet of the character. Two versions to the certain beauty that do not fail to generate our interest in the YEARS ADRIFT series.
