"Artists are used to having their own mascot character, I like to draw animals, I drew a lot of them, especially rabbits. When I did it, I wanted it to be both the simplest and the prettiest and that is how Molang was born. It was not at the start was created for a commercial purpose. [...] Molang comes from Malang Malang, which means spongy and years old, gave him the name of Malang. "I didn't give Molang a genre. I didn't want to limit the character. I can let Molang dress with girls' clothing or give him a boy look. The genesis of

Molang

Flagship character of the Millimages studio, Molang is the fruit of the meeting between two women with very different universes. In 2010, Hye-Ji Yoon, Korean illustrator, scribbled on her student notebooks the first Molang and Piu Piu. 

Fallen in love, Marie Caroline Villand, French author and director, then creates the characters, stories and values ​​of these adorable and charismatic best friends. This results in an animated TV series which now has 6 seasons and an international brand represented by license agents around the world. 

A true viral phenomenon, Molang represents the benevolence with foolproof and brings together more than 9 million fans on social networks, from its parodies of pop culture on Instagram to its dances on Tiktok, passing through its gaming videos on YouTube.

10 years later, it is our turn to offer a revolution in the Molang universe. Centered on Comfort Food, This is a first wave that calls many others if you are there. And for the little anecdote, This is the very first time in the world that a Piu Piu figurine was born.
