Description
Milton Glaser: Graphic Design presents the main works of the godfather of modern graphic design. We discover the beginnings of the American graphic designer, born in 1929 in New York. His work ranges from posters to designing book and album covers, all in a remarkable and innovative style.
His works have been exhibited worldwide, with solo exhibitions at the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The artist has received numerous honors including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum (2004) and the National Medal of Arts from President Barack Obama (2009). A sign of its excellence, the use of new operating modes and its own fonts demonstrate its overflowing creativity.
We find in this 240-page book a large part of his work, with world-famous creations, proof of his excellence in a field that continues to develop.
