Futura

As a pioneer of abstract graffiti, Futura got its start in the 1970s by bombing trains in its hometown of New York. He then quickly transposed this style on canvas and was able to get noticed by those who would become his traveling companions, among others, Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Futura has had a defining influence on urban culture both through its art and through its collaborations with iconic brands such as NIKE, Levi's, Vans, Hennessey, Medicom Toy as well as its own brand, Futura Laboratories.
