The world of the Superplastic is expanding, with the appearance of its legendary bloodthirsty killer Guggimon as a crucified character! Sanctuary "Red" by SSUR is the result of the collision between Murderpants and SSUR, the Ukrainian artist from Odessa Ruslan Karablin, whose artist name pays tribute to his Russian origins.

Passionate about sacred art and symbols, SSUR has made a name for himself even in the closed circles of fashion with " COMME DES FUCKDOWN ", his parodic clothing line, and then with his eponymous streetwear brand. In his clothes as well as in his large format oil paintings, we find the themes that obsess him: classical art, scenes from the new testament, police violence, mass trade, etc. SSUR constantly confronts "high art" and its classical techniques with "low art" and its popular references. It plays with the symbols of our Western societies where sacred and capital are often synonymous, and the result is always striking.

Murderpants is no exception to the rule and finds himself propelled towards the heavens, with his crown of thorns and the stigmata of the nails driven into his hands and feet. Here he is, perched on a beautiful treasure: ultra-pure ingots engraved with the logos of Superplastic and SSUR.
