Saul Bass was a famous American graphic designer and director, best known for his groundbreaking work in film posters and credits. He collaborated with many great directors, including Alfred Hitchcock, Otto Preminger, Stanley Kubrick and Martin Scorsese.
Among his most iconic works are the film credits for Hitchcock's "Vertigo", "Psycho" and "North by Northwest", as well as the movie posters for "The Man with the Golden Arm" and "West Side Story".
