Xiongmiao, creator of Skullpanda, is a Chinese artist who created her own creative studio BEIZHAI in 2014, then a studio specializing in art toy in 2018 after the release of the famous IP called NORTH STUDIO. Skullpanda joined Popmart's many characters in 2020, a partnership that allowed the figure to be marketed and promoted across the world while leaving the creative freedom to its original studio.
