Andy Warhol's banana, created in 1967 for the group's album The Velvet Underground & Nico, has become one of the most recognizable images in pop art history. YellowPop, through this collaboration, pays homage to this work.

The artist chose an everyday, banal and cheap object, a simple banana, and transformed it into a real work of art. It erases the border between the "high culture“(the museums) and the”mass culture"(supermarkets). It is a critique of consumer society, but also a celebration of it.
