Abell Octovan x Mighty Jaxx release Anti-Supremacy (The Vehemence)
Indonesian artist Abell Octovan does it again with Mighty Jaxx. Famous for its know-how since 2008, the toy designer doesn't hesitate to be always more subversive. With Anti-Supremacy he reappropriates the logo of the Supreme brand whose omnipresence in the media and shops apparently seems to raise questions. Between obvious streetwear reference and more classic art with this marbled bust, we seem to be torn between two worlds which coexist however well. So what is the message ?
With this duality between black marble and lacquered red, Abell Octovan seems to be more virulent towards the brand and rejects the balance, shown on this 12" bust. The brand's color codes are fading in favor of visual harmonization, clearly dominated by red (the color of angy). Like a new beauty standard, Anti-Supremacy is very cool and you can try to win this figurine on the Mighty Jaxx Facebook account, all the details right here.
