Kavinsky x Artoyz Originals: Black Edition
ARTOYZ And Kavinsky Have the pleasure of presenting their new collaboration on Dead Cruiser, the iconic Zombie Fil Driver of the artist's universe. This last edition comes after the release of the two other figurines, presented on the occasion of the album REBORN.
Small reminder, Kavinsky of his real name Vincent Belorgey is a French electronic music artist. His first studio album,Outstrun, was released in 2013. Here we discover the story of a man who killed himself in Ferrari Testarossa in 1986 and who reappears in zombie music producer in 2006. The album takes its name from the video game of the same name published in the time by Sega.
9 years after "Outrun", he then marked his return with a second album named reborn. We keep the Vibe of the 80s and the "Driver", with the same jacket and the same night and dark decor.
The sculpture was entrusted to Alban Ficat, talented sculptor recognized among others for his work around Hellboy. The sculpture is freely inspired by an illustration ofAlex Garner, renowned illustrator for his work at DC and Marvel.
We present to you the third exclusive version Dead Cruiser figurine, sporting a black and white monochrome color. The figurine is only available at Artoyz and limited to only 100 copies, at the price of 150€.
It will be sold on 03/16/2023 at 12 noon in our shop and on Artoyz.com.
In order to promote this exclusive outing, a signing session is planned in our Parisian boutique with the sculptor Alban Ficat. The latter will take place on 18/03 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. At 83 rue Saint Honoré 75001 Paris. We are waiting for you for this meeting!
During this signing session, you will also have the opportunity to discover the "Superpin's" which comes to us from the collaboration between SP Collections And Kavinsky!
The Superpin’s is presented under Blister Bulle, numbered and pulled to 500 copies world.
Made in zamak, enamelled and then polished by hand, the pin's is engraved and numbered on the back. The whole collection wasTossemblée and packed in France in their workshop.
It will thus be available at the price of 30€ In our Parisian shop.
The first two versions are released in July 2022. We first find a figurine bearing the image of the Dead Cruiser with his design from the album REBORN, Black Teddy enhanced with patches taking up the Reborn playlist.
This edition is limited to 1000 copies.
The second model is in the image of the Dead Cruiser but with the design that he sported at the time of the first album Outstrun, red teddy with white handle enhanced with a white K.
This edition is limited to 500 copies.
