Portland Power // SDCC 2007 Report
The common point between Bwana Spoons, Martin Ontivieros and shit? They are friends, ok, but they are all from Portland, Oregon the city where (depending on the overlap of my information from several different sources) it is good to live. Culturally above the American average (not complicated at the same time eh), it is not surprising to see a small pool of talented artists with a completely original and confusing style. All gathered in the same collective for the occasion, they take the opportunity to present their artworks, their paintings, t-shirts, their fanzines, and also their toys.
We knew that Bwana already had a foot in it, and it's Martin Ontiviros' turn to get into the big bath. As for the shit figurines (yes it's his name, no I am not kidding), you can appreciate its new terribly intriguing creations. A real bazaar in the good sense of the term this Grass Hut Corp Booth.
We introduced you to the excluded version of Edward The Gator in another post (yes I could give the link, no I won't do it right away), here are the Edward the Gator Handpainted by Bwana Spoons:
Globby and Ojo Rojo
PlaingLow Killer Set - Edition of 10 (as written in the photo finally)
Here are some shit figurines. Disturbing, amazing .... but what is it? How did he do that ????
Proud of their origins here are freelemenian oregs made by hand
