When did you start collecting art Toys ?
I discovered art Toys With a free mag, "Last Mag"I think it had to be in 2004/2005, with an article on Michael Lau. It had impressed me downright and suddenly I started to be interested in it.
What is the first art toy that you bought?
My first toy, it was a Teddy Troop Vrs (Visual Rock Star) Yellow of Flying Fortress. Found on a stand ARTOYZ During I don't know what event ... I love this character, whether in toy Or in graffiti, so simple and addictive, perfect for making a small army!
What is your top 3?
I chose in my collection to make this top 3. And there is not really a ranking because there are 3 quite different styles:
1 - King Ken Pink of James Jarvis. One of my first "big play". So classy and imposing and an overly touching head as only Jarvis can do it!
2 - One of my favorite Shape for years is The Rangeas of T9G. All versions are impressive! From the middle size to the version of Tim Biskup More "kind", I love them all. It is ultra detailed, perfectly proportioned, and a crazy charisma. Even more with this version, The Rangeas SS (4 arms!) In Gold Lamé
3 - I discovered the work ofAshley Wood by his toys, and in particular this large Martin 3 Pack (Norge Defense Large Martin + Iron Panda Large Martin + Pink Dazzle RPG Bramble). I fell in love with her robots, and even more of her girls! His illustrations are so magnificent and her toys so faithful. Painting details and the complexity of the joints make them so real!
In my top 3 I also want to add my baby to me (the pride of the dad what): Combo.
Released in 2007, he was born thanks to a competition carried out by Vinylcollectable, competition in which I participated with my friend overgarty. The first price was the production of toy... Suddenly, 3 colorways came out, then 2 collector versions in resin, enough to make his 2 dads quite proud!
