Portrait #2: Cynda and Charly
After the Paris region with Sylver, today let's take off for Epinal where Cynda is waiting for us to present her beautiful collection of Artoyz to us. When did you start collecting Artoyz?
I discovered the Artoyz about six years ago looking for an original gift for my son. What is the first Artoyz you bought?
The first order I placed on the site was the Bearbrick Elvis from Medicom Toy. I was then able to discover Moult Toyz by going to your old store rue de l'Arbre dry during a holiday in Paris. What is your top 3?
Difficult to define a top 3 but in order I would first put the Bearbrick Elvis, then the Alyen Vegas by Run by Buffalo Toyz And to finish the Kidrobot Smorkin Labbit. They are all 3 in the photo.

And let's go back to Paris to see Charly, the founder of Lappoms.com, who also agreed to tell us about his passion for Artoyz. When did you start collecting Artoyz?
My collection really started in the summer of 2012. I have been discovering for some time the universe of the artysz including the be@rbrick, and on the occasion of a passage on eBay, I came across a collector who separated from a Part of "his children" including a Pinocchio Kaws at a very reasonable price. So I bought some beautiful pieces from my current collection. Since then, I walk to the favorite in store or on the web, once even on a clearance sale where Pedro Winter sold the set be@rbrick Interstella 5555 under Blister, limited to 5,555 pieces and I had it at a gift price. What is the first Artoyz you bought?
A vinyl 22cm collector "Dan Howard" on the occasion of a visit to Disneyland Paris in 2010 or 2011. It was my first meeting with an Artoyz and I loved the concept of Blind Boxes for the lower models. Since then, at each of my visits, I let myself be tempted by a new one that I possibly trade if I do not like. What is your top 3?
My top 3 in order: Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket by Kaws, I am a fan of this play especially because it is certainly my most beautiful at the moment but also because the work of Kaws is really fantastic.
Fat Tony by Ron English, I really like its very offbeat universe and its side. Certainly one of my next purchases.
In third position, two ex-aequo parts which come out of the common be@rbrick 1000% Chanel, some will say that it is a be@rbrick basic but it gives off something different.
And the Mickadek 140cm from the artist Ramzi Adek, he was a real masterpiece that he produced and asked him for a large number of hours of work. The result in lacquered black is stun! It is rumored that others are in manufacturing with other colors including special commands from VIP ...
Thank you very much to Cynda and Charly for your contribution! If just like them, you want to answer these 3 questions, send us your answers as well as a photo (or more) from your collection to this address: camille@old.artoyz.com.
