Scary Guy by Kenny Scharf
First, a little biography of the artist. Kenny Scharf, American artist of his condition, began his career in the 80s. He officiated at the same time as the greatest: Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring. His art? A mix of contemporary art and graffiti, he uses the images of pop culture and develops "a gay and colorful work quite close to the concerns of the Free Figuration (artistic movement of the early 80s, appeared in an art context "serious", minimalist and conceptual. To return to what interests us, Designer Toys, Kenny Scharf collaborated with Kidrobot, from this union was born a tribute to the most famous family in the United States: the Simpsons! In a pure style "Scharf" we find a Bart with a language represented by one of the emblematic characters of the artist.
In 2015 he also offers his Scary Guy. A beautiful chrome sculpture representing a rather scary face! We are lucky to be able to propose it to you very soon!
