The origin of the name of this collective created in 1992 comes from the postal code of a small town in the north of France which is called Bray-Dunes (59123). Since they were the only graffiti artists in the city, the name was initially 123king but the collective enlarged over time, therefore taking the name of "clan".

They adopt their own style, mixing graffiti and design graphic.
