Osamu Tezuka

Osamu Tezuka was a Japanese mangaka often referred to as the "father of manga" because of his major influence on its development. He also played a key role in establishing the distinctive style of Japanese manga. He created a large number of popular and influential works, including Astro Boy, and is regarded as Japan's equivalent of Disney.
