Yokai

Yokai are supernatural creatures and spirits from Japanese folklore. The term "yōkai" encompasses a wide variety of entities, from monsters and ghosts to demons and animal spirits.

Some of the most famous yōkai include kitsune (nine-tailed foxes), tengu (mountain demons) and kappa (aquatic creatures).

Today, yōkai continue to fascinate and inspire many artists, writers and creators, appearing in manga, anime and video games.
