Yoshitomo Nara

Yoshitomo Nara is a contemporary Japanese artist born in 1959. He is regularly assimilated to the Superflat movement. He distinguished himself by his childish subjects skillfully mixing aesthetic kawaii, naive and punk. His work is a skillful mixture of Western culture and Japanese culture making him one of the most sides in the world. He recently joined the Kaikaikiki Roadster, the gallery of artists Takashi Murakami.

Yoshitomo Nara expresses her work through different mediums whether painting, illustration or sculpture. He also made several figurines in limited edition with the How2work label.
