Medicom Toy has partnered with the American League for this collaboration on its hugely popular Bearbrick. It is one of the two major baseball leagues in the United States, along with the National League.

The latter was created in 1901 and replaced the Western League. It was divided into 14 teams from 1977 and it will take 3 more years to see the division by conference appear: East, West and Center. The American League is distinguished by the fact that it allows a "designated hitter", which often leads to a higher total of points than in the neighboring league.
