Letters from M/M (Paris) is a book offering a discovery of the different typefaces created by Michaël Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak, founders of the art and design firm named M/M (Paris).
No less than ninety typefaces are studied and classified chronologically, divided into three parts. We first find the history of their creation, then an analysis of the so-called "special" fonts, to finally conclude with detailed illustrations. The preface of the book is signed Björk, it allows us to retrace the history of typography and the role of signs in the work of the M/M firm. The collaborations are also presented, with the importance they had in the evolution of their projects.
This 480-page book will delight graphic designers and students of Letters, but without forgetting all those who are interested in the art of typographic culture.
