Emilio Garcia will present McBrain at the Art Fair of Barcelona

You know him for his sculptures where brain is an art medium. Make sculpture of brain is an excuse for the most bitter satires on our contemporary society. The last one ? McBrain, sculpture that will be presented at the Art Fair of Barcelona. Of course you will have recognized the misappropriation of the name of one of the best known burger - and surely consumed - in the world.

But what does this sculpture mean ? Does the consumer society devour us as fast as the burgers we order ? Should we see a general stupor where mass culture is queen ? So many questions that the artist Emilio Garcia raises will make us think. It must be said that his brain-bun is most disturbing.

Edited in 4 colors, as evidenced by the last Instagram post of the artist, this sculpture will be presented at the Art Fair of Barcelona between 26 and 29 September. Although we don't have details like price, number of copies or size, the fact remains that all the ingredients are there to make McBrain a truly striking creation, especially by its realism.
